SOS-Crockpot Lasagna

  • 1 lb. ground beef, browned, drain the grease and set aside
  • 2 -26 oz pasta sauce
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese for the top
  • 1  box of lasagna noodles (I have used no bake and regular and it comes great either way)
  • 1batch S.O.S. Alfredo sauce:1/3 cup dry S.O.S mix, 1 1/4 cup water, 1/2 cup grated (or powder)Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup low fat sour cream, 1/4 tsp pepper, and (I add 1-2 tbsp garlic powder)
In a medium pan combine all ingredients, mix well and cook over stove medium heat until it starts to bubble- this will thicken the Alfredo. Take off heat and set aside.

  1. Spray inside of crock pot with nonstick spray.
  2. Spread 1 cup of tomato pasta sauce over bottom.
  3. Layer noodles to comepletely cover bottom- the noodles can break to fit.
  4. Top noodles with a layer of alfredo sauce- spread evenly, about a third of the alfredo sauce.
  5. Use 1 cup of mozzarella to sprinkle over alfredo sauce.
  6. mix together the ground beef and remaining pasta sauce and spread a third of the sauce over the mozzarella layer.
  7. Repeat the layering process two more times: noodles, alfredo, mozzarella, and meat sauce.
  8. Use remaining noodles for the top and top with parmesan cheese.
  9. cook with lid on high for the first hour and then turn to low for 3 hourse. Serves 6
