WELCOME!

If you are viewing this for the first time, welcome to Orchard View, and we hope you are as excited about Food Storage and Emergency preparedness as we are. To use this blog, use the labels section below to search by topics (and there are multiple pages for many of them, so make sure you click "older posts" at the bottom of each page). And you see to the right above the "Labels" section is a list of links to websites that you might find to be useful. Also, we welcome you to become a "follower" of our ward's blog. Any way you use this site, we appreciate you paying us a visit and hope we have something to share with you that will benefit you and your loved ones.
May God bless us in our efforts as we "prepare every needful thing".

February - Powdered Milk!!!!!!!!!!!

Please don't grunt and sigh and tune me out. This is a key ingredient to many food storage meals and will be an asset to you and your family if you really HAD to eat your food storage. Let me prove it to you (see bottom paragraph for powdered milk party info)

To order, sign up in the Relief Society binders or email Sister Hanamaikai. Price is $8.60 per can (these are the packaged and sealed number 10 cans for long-term storage).Payment is due March 18th (thats a Sunday, and Sister Bleyl and I will be collecting cash/checks no later than that day. You can also mail it to me beforehand if that's easier for you).

To find out more and learn about using powdered milk, or to eat some free sampling, or just to have a girls night, join us WEDNESDAY FEB. 22nd at Sister Hanamaikai's house at 6:30 for an activity all about this food storage topic. CAN'T WAIT!!!
