How about an Applebox oven?

So for August we are talking about dried apples for food storage, but while we're on the subject of apples, let's talk about emergency cooking. I saw this cooker on one of my favorite sites "Everyday Food Storage" that actually got the idea from another site called peaceofpreparedness.com (both of which are awesome resources) and so here is the link that will show you how to make one of these inexpensive ovens: http://www.peaceofpreparedness.com/Resource%20Library/Cookers/Applebox%20Oven%20directions%20and%20instructions%202011.pdf
Okay now, I have not made one myself yet, but I am planning on trying it out this Fall. I have heard from a couple of friends who have made this and said it worked, that it is also relatively EASY to make, just follow the instructions step by step. Hooray! Cheap? Easy? It works? I'm a fan!
